Accident Reporting

In case of an accident or damage to the rental vehicle, follow these steps:

Contact us promptly at 021 0295 2879.
Notify the police if the accident involves injury.
If feasible, draft a signed written statement of facts involving all parties. If consensus is unattainable, obtain a copy of the police report.

Avoid admitting liability, as it may impact your insurance coverage.
Allocate at least 30 minutes to complete a comprehensive accident report form upon returning the vehicle.
If you have a camera, photograph damaged vehicles and the accident site to assist with any claims

Note: You, as the renter, are liable for the excess, regardless of fault. The excess liability may vary by vehicle; refer to our Excess Reduction Cover page for details on reducing your liability.

Important: Document full details of all parties and vehicles involved, including names, addresses, phone numbers, insurance information, and apparent damage.

For emergencies in New Zealand, contact 111 for Police, Ambulance, and Fire Service.
